What’s Up Wednesday 

Hello friends! As I mentioned in my last blog post, life has been absolutely crazy. I want to badly to understand how these professional bloggers get it all done!

The Fiance and I are attempting to plan a wedding, we just bought a house and are renovating it (mostly ourselves…eek!) and our puppy has recently decided to become a toddler and whine every time we stop paying attention to her. Plus, you know, I do that whole work thing every week. Do you feel bad for me yet? No? Okay. I will go ahead and put my violin away then. 

 

That all being said, I am trying to keep up with the things that make me happiest. Spending time with family and friends, keeping my body fit, and hopefully getting back into this blog! However, I have said that before and failed miserably, so I completely understand if you don’t have a lot of faith. BUT if you hang tight with me I am hoping to bring you new posts on the Whole30, my transition from bootcamp classes into running and yoga, new healthy recipes, and plenty of traveling information as I recently traveled to Asia and NYC, plus, have upcoming trips to the Dominican Republic and Hawaii being planned! 

Onward with this weeks What’s Up Wednesday though! 

Recipes I am making this week:

Thai Turkey Bowl with Basil – This is our new favorite replacement for takeout food and boy oh boy it doesn’t disappoint! I am going to be giving you this recipe next week so stay tuned!! 

Greek Side Salad & Lemon Lamb – Can you say yum? Keep on the lookout for this coming soon to the blog! 

Podcasts I am loving:

S-Town – I finished this whole podcast in about two days. Honestly, it wasn’t similar to any of the podcasts I typically listen to, but I binged it all the way through! Check it out on ITunes

Mouthing Off with Olivia – I think I enjoy this podcast for two reasons. 1) Olivia is a fellow Horned Frog! 2) The Bachelor. I haven’t really known any of the guests she has had on yet, but it has been fun to listen to nonetheless and I have found myself laughing out loud a few times.

Places I am adoring:

New York City! This past weekend, I headed back to one of my favorite places in the world to celebrate one of my girlfriend’s Bachelorette Party! All it did was remind me of why my heart flutters whenever I am in the Big Apple and I can’t wait to share a perfect NYC Bachelorette weekend with you all. 

 

Plans I am making: 

My company is having a team for the Bike MS event held in Colorado in June. And for some reason, The Fiance and I decided we could bike 100 miles in 2 days. I think the good cause really got the better of me this time!! That being said, we are each raising money for MS research as part of this fundraising cycling event!! We are so excited to be a part of a great cause and would appreciate any help we can get in getting to our fundraising goals. To donate to my fundraising efforts please click this link! Workouts I am sweating in:

I plan to get into my transition away from my FIT on Broadway Bootcamps in a later post, but just know I have good reasons for the change! 

Monday: Rest

Tuesday: 5 Mile Run

Wednesday: BBG Workout

Thursday: 8*400 & Yoga

Friday: BBG Workout

Saturday: BBG or Rest (Haven’t decided yet!) 

Sunday: 8 Mile Run
